29/01/22 – Starting to feel real. Today I joined the West Highland Way race weekend reccie at Balmaha for an out and back heading north. There was no end point, just where we decided to about turn. It was lovely to meet up with folk I hadn’t seen in ages and meet others I’d heard of but not seen in real life. I did have one of those Covid moments when went to shake hands then opted for fist bump but neither really worked as we weren’t sure what to do…argh!

We had wind, rain and sun making it a typical Scottish day. The views were stunning with multiple rainbows, perfect photo moments, only a few trees down for hurdling and great chat.
