ALL OVER CUMBRAE FROM MILLPORT

https://ballymenachamber.co.uk/?p=faas78fci 04/06/22 – Back on my favourite little island…Cumbrae. This is a fab island with lots to do for all the family First proper island run of the year. I always start from Cosy Corner in the west part of Millport. It was a tail (a waggy one) of two halves. First part was to tire Tilly out. Lots of smells and interesting things for her to take in and totally not running in a straight line. 4.5km done and dropped her back home. Now I could get out for another 13.5km. I managed to tick off the Inner Circle, Fintry Bay and Targets Walk. So much to see… cannon in a wall, birds, bunnies, pheasants, golf course, reservoirs, curling pond, Glaid Stone, Gowklan Woods and the standing stone, Croc Rock and so much more. Final stop is always the Crocodeli for yummy danish pasties. Only part I never did was Farland point. Although this run was 18km it can be shortened or extended very easily.
