26/10/23 – It was a Halloween spooktacular on tour guided 11km run tonight. Starting at Blairskaith Linn we took the trails up to Lennox forest before descending the slippery mountain bike tracks to Celtic training ground. Next over to Lennox Castle which was very creepy at night. Then along to Lovers Leap for what looked like a re-enactment of Titanic. Next stop was the stone ruin before up and through the trees. Last stop was a bit of going rogue to reach the trig point before a fun downhill back to the start. Loved it!

I love pretending to be a bike and run down all their trails in he woods. Found a new connecting trail. We explored into the castle, it’s such a shame it’s been left to become a ruin. Checked out the spectacular views from lovers leap (well they are there on a sunny day). Tried to shelter in the stone cottage but with no windows or roof it was a bit of a fail. Turns out even in daylight we struggled to find the trod to the trig. Wet, windy, fun.
