GLASGOW SIGHTS TO THE WEST

10/11/22 – It’s been a while since I did a lot of my city centre routes so now mapping out my old favourite lunch runs. Today was a 7.7km loop from the city centre round the city sights to the west and back. Starting in the city centre the aim is to reach the River Clyde, from here head west and you’ll soon pass the Rotunda, Hydro, Armadillo. Across the river is the Science Centre and you can cross over at Bell’s Bridge if you want. I didn’t, instead I followed the river down to the Riverside museum and tall ship. From here I then followed the River Kelvin inland and soon popped out in front of Kelvingrove Museum with Glasgow University sitting up on the hill. Finally back through Kelvingrove Park and over the M8 to the city.
