I’ve driven past it so many times going along the side of Loch Long but never ventured up it. We parked in Arrochar at the main carpark, crossed the road and headed up.

At the junction (split in the trail) we crossed the stream passing a little dam and continued up. This way involved a bit more scrambling that the other option. We had great views until we got near the summit when the cloud came down and wind jacket went on. I love a good downhill and this didn’t disappoint all the way back to the carpark. Only issue was the midges who were waiting to eat us alive when we got back.
